Services and Fees
Here are just some of the services I can provide and likely costs:
AS A NOTARY PUBLIC:
Office visits to Commercial Clients' premises (Please note that currently only visits to commercial client's premises are available and no home visits are being made until further notice) . This will be at an extra cost.
Prepare and/or attest Powers of Attorneys for individuals for overseas.
Administer oaths (affidavits) and declarations for use overseas.
Notarise company and commercial documents such as Company House Documents, Certificates of Good Standing, Resolutions, Powers of Attorney, Agreements and any other documents for overseas use that require the services of a Notary Public. We can attend your offices to notarise the documents. The fees will depend on the nature and number of documents, the country in which the document are to be used (this is because the legalisation requirements and procedures vary between countries), and whether the client is attending my office or I am attending client's office.
AS A SOLICITOR:
Apply for Grant of Probate or Grant of Letters of Administration for the Estate of a deceased persons. On the death of a loved one, the loss can be devastating and very stressful for the family. The last thing that you want , and need, is having to deal with all the paperwork associated with the making of an application to the Probate Registry. We can deal with the court application, from speaking to you, collecting details of the assets and liabilities, preparing and making an application to the Probate Registry, completing the necessary tax forms. The Grant once issued will enable you to collect the assets and distribute the estate. We can do all this at very competitive fees.
THE PRICE INFORMATION BELOW IS A GENERAL INDICATION OF COSTS BASED ON OUR EXPERIENCE.
We estimate a fixed fee cost is likely to range between £1,750 and £2,500 plus VAT and disbursements* for a straightforward grant of probate for estates in England and Wales, where:
· there is no more than one property in the sole name of the deceased
· there are no more than three bank accounts
· there are no debts (other than utility bills)
· there is a valid will appointing executors
· there is a single beneficiary
· there are no complications
*Disbursements (costs related to your matter that are payable to third parties)
Net Item Amount and the rate of VAT that will be payable on top of the price given

Additional Office copies for the grant of probate (per copy) £1.50 VAT none
Post in the local paper £250 VAT 20%
Post in the London Gazette £80.00 VAT 20%
*Please note that the government had issued proposals to increase fees in the future. Therefore, if there are any changes, the latest figure will be given at the time of taking instructions. Other fees are also subject to change without notice.

Additional costs
The following factors are likely to increase the cost of your matter:
· not having all of the paperwork available, or having missing or incorrect information that needs investigation and correction
· third parties not responding to our communications promptly
· dealing with unusual or complex assets or items (for example fine art, timeshares, shares in private companies, etc.)
As soon as any complications arise we will discuss these with you and agree the fee for the additional work being carried out in advance of any additional work being undertaken.
Every estate is different, which is why we encourage you to contact us so we can provide you with an estimate outlining a range of potential fees to make sure that you get the right amount of support to meet your individual circumstances. We will update you regularly on your costs throughout the matter so you can stay in control throughout.
