AS A NOTARY PUBLIC:
Notarise company and commercial documents, such as Company House Documents, Certificates of Good Standing, Resolutions, Powers of Attorney, Agreements and any other documents for use overseas, that require the services of a Notary Public. I can attend your offices to notarise the documents.
Certify, as a Notary Public, the Company Officers/Director's personal documents, e.g. copies of the passport or proofs of address, for opening company bank accounts or for appointment as officers/directors of foreign subsidiaries.
Arrange for the documents that your lawyers have prepared for you or your UK Government issued documents, such as birth, marriage and/or death certificates, to be Apostilled at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (formerly the Foreign and Commonwealth Office) pursuant to the Hague Convention and legalised at the Embassies/Consulates/High Commissions using couriers. If you require this service, please let me know and I will advise you of the courier and legalisation fees. These fees are payable in addition to the Notary's fees.
Please note that the FCDO will only Apostille documents such as marriage/birth/death certificates if the originals are sent to them. You can go directly to the FCDO website yourself to complete their application form and pay their fees without the involvement of a notary public or legalisation agents.
Please note that some Embassies/Consulates/High Commissions require you to attend their offices personally and will not accept documents through a courier. In those circumstances, please note that I am not able to arrange for legalisation at the Embassies/Consulates/High Commissions and you will have to deal with the legalisation of the notarised documents personally.
